Adding Sensors/IoT Devices to Eratos

👍

Who's This For

This documentation is designed for developers, data scientists, and innovators who are working on IoT/ sensor systems and wish to integrate into Eratos. Note that this is an advanced topic and will take some time to complete.

You MUST be a part of an organisation and have the required permissions to continue.

Welcome to the Eratos integration guide for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Whether you aim to boost data collection, incorporate real-time data into your projects, or utilize IoT for sophisticated analytics, you've come to the right place.

Adding IoT Devices to Eratos: The Senaps System

To manage sensor data, Eratos utilizes a sensor management system called Senaps. Senaps is a cloud-based IoT management system enabling data-driven products to be delivered easily. Senaps is a scalable, secure, and efficient technology to support the delivery of real-time data and complex analytics from SME's through to Enterprise solutions.

This guide will walk you through the process of integrating your IoT devices with Eratos. To complete the tutorial, follow the links at the bottom of each page. Other ways of implementing the step, such as through the SDK can be found in the sub-pages of each step.

    1. Build a Datastream
    1. Adding rich metadata and its benefits
    2. Access and download your sensor data
    3. Viewing datastreams on a dashboard
    1. Understand your sensor
    2. Create a datasource
    3. Create a data parser to link datasource to datastreams
    1. Creating a workflow to process sensor data using a model
    2. Using the Senaps API to set up a sensor system
